Nancy Dobson |
Nancy is a founding member of Document Examination Consultants, Inc. After a career as a registered nurse, she switched to the field of forensics in 1987. Nancy's nursing background has proven invaluable in the forensic analysis of medical records. Nancy's duties involve assistance in the preparation of forensic reports, as well as management of the office, accounting, technical support and staff supervision. She has considerable experience developing indented impressions on suspect documents, and has a keen understanding of the needs of the legal community. Nancy co-authored a paper with Rob and Brian entitled "The Document Examiner's Role in Deciphering Handwriting of a Severely Impaired Writer" presented by Brian at the 2002 Midwestern Association of Forensic Scientists conference in Milwaukee and again at the 2003 American Academy of Forensic Sciences conference in Chicago. When time permits, Nancy assists Brian with forensic presentations and workshops. |
